Message installing the gears, it just isn't necessary unless there is some evidence of bearing failure. A competent shop has the tools necessary (a bearing spreader I believe it's called) to remove your existing bearings without damaging them, and simply pressing them back on. I have not heard of a pinion bearing failing, nor do the side axle bearings fail often. If they aren't galled and the diff, isn't making noise, you don't need to replace them. The guy that SpecialtyZ and I use charges (last I heard) $250 to set up the gears, if you bring him your rear end (I couldn't help that). If you opt for the complete rebuild, the parts are around $400 plus additional labor of about $100, so the complete rebuild plus installation of the gears should be *around* $700-$800. Let me repeat myself...it's not usually necessary. Hope that is of some help, Mark
